Job summary

Hyve Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Lead to oversee daily production of server, storage, and networking assemblies. You will direct hourly staff, optimize workflows, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role requires MPI knowledge, staff training, and problem-solving with a lean process focus. You will mentor teams, develop procedures, and drive KPI improvements in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Must understand MPI documents and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to train staff on MPI and related procedures.
• Proficient in Excel with basic to intermediate skills.
• Handles complex assignments with sound judgment.
• Shows initiative and problem-solving capabilities.
• Establishes methods and procedures for new tasks.
• Works effectively in a team environment.
• May provide guidance to junior staff.
• Regarded as expert in job assignments.

Responsibilities

• Participate in shift start-up meetings with your department team.
• Communicate priorities, issues, quality goals and information relevant to your department.
• Attend daily recap production/shipping meetings when Supervisor is not present.
• Direct hourly employees and coordinate daily production activities.
• Determine and develop methods to improve productivity and quality.
• Utilize efficient and effective flow of WIP.
• Prepare daily productivity reports.
• Evaluate issues and potential problems proactively.
• Ensure 5S housekeeping duties are assigned and completed daily.
• Maintain open communication with hourly reports regarding goals and accomplishments.
• Monitor department KPI’s for results and trends.
• Develop contingencies and short-term processes as needed.
• Identify bottlenecks that affect area goals or standards.
• Develop hourly employees through training, coaching and mentoring.
