Job summary

WCL Group is seeking a Technical CAD Designer II in Allentown, PA, onsite. You will own and maintain 2D AutoCAD layouts for the manufacturing facility, serving as SME for layout drawings and driving revision control across production lines and support areas.

You’ll collaborate with Engineering, Facilities, and Operations to reflect approved changes and support continuous improvement. The role requires an associate degree or technical certification and at least 2 years of 2D layout experience.

Qualifications

Associate degree or technical certification in drafting/engineering technology or equivalent.
2+ years' experience producing 2D manufacturing or facility layouts.
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (2D).

Responsibilities

Own and maintain master 2D AutoCAD layouts for the facility including production lines and utilities.
Serve as SME for all manufacturing and facility layout drawings.
Ensure layouts reflect as-built condition and approved future changes.
Create detailed layouts for lines, equipment, material flow, and workstations.
Manage revision control, versioning, and change history.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Process, Facilities, EHS, and Operations on reviews.
