Job summary

Electrified Thermal Solutions is seeking lab technicians to assist with pilot production of our E-Brick refractory heater elements at our Charlestown, MA facility. You will report to the Senior Process Engineer and work on a manufacturing team of engineers and technicians. Full-time on-site work is expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on lab experience in a professional or educational setting.
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication.
• Commitment to safety procedures and safety culture.
• Ability to work independently on complex tasks with reliability.
• Familiarity with power tools or heavy machinery a plus.
• OSHA‑approved forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Mix, pour, vibrate, cure, fire, QC, and package refractory E-brick heater elements.
• Prepare QA/QC samples with each batch.
• Document process parameters as directed by process and manufacturing engineers.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, improvements, and repair.
• Prepare refractory samples for testing, including cutting, drilling, and grinding.
• Organize and catalog samples, tools, and equipment.
• Work with engineering staff to revise SOPs for processes and lab equipment.
