Job summary

Ford Energy, a Ford Motor Company subsidiary, is seeking a Training and Development Leader to drive manufacturing development activities across facilities. You will coordinate onboarding and ongoing training with plant operations and the North America Learning and Development team to build capability for new technology.

You’ll apply adult learning theory, strong project management, and professional standards to design, deliver, and track curricula.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience (5+ years) in organizational learning and development, training, human resources, or a related discipline.
• 1-2+ years of classroom facilitation experience, certification preferred.
• Familiarity with Learning Management System (LMS) and ability to learn how to create, coordinate, schedule, and track training processes. (SAP LMS preferred)
• Proficient in MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Provide learning and development process leadership using established training standards, processes, and tools to: facilitate plant learning & development-related committees; review and document compliance training needs; forecast, execute, and report status of annual learning and development plans; manage training data in LMS; evaluate impact of learning activities; ensure facilities and equipment meet program needs.
• Effectively schedule, facilitate the delivery and execution of learning and development activities.
• Monitor effectiveness/certification of internal and external learning facilitators
• Ensure trainer coverage and all training materials are available
• Maintain training records and ensure revisions of training materials are up to date
• Utilize LMS to coordinate/track/assign training, create reports, and enter completions
• Perform training audits to ensure requirements are followed
