Job summary

The H-J Family of Companies in High Ridge, MO is seeking a Learning & Development Coordinator to build scalable training systems across our manufacturing operations. You will create and maintain digital SOPs, training materials, and visual work aids using Dozuki and other tools.

Working with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Production, you will transform tacit knowledge into repeatable processes, improve safety and productivity, and track program effectiveness on the factory floor.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in Manufacturing, Operations, Training, Education, Business, or related field.
• Manufacturing experience or exposure in production/industrial environment.
• Strong computer proficiency and ability to quickly learn and navigate new software, cloud-based applications, and digital platforms.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with photos, videos, screenshots, or other digital media to support documentation and training initiatives.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, easy-to-follow instructions.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently while collaborating across departments.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and update digital SOPs, work instructions, training guides, and visual work aids using Dozuki and related platforms.
• Utilize digital and AI-assisted tools to improve documentation efficiency and standardization.
• Organize training content into structured learning paths based on department, equipment, process, and skill level.
• Support onboarding, cross-training, and employee development initiatives through accessible and effective training materials.
• Maintain document control, revision history, and compliance with company standards.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and leadership to align training content with business objectives.
• Communicate technical processes in a clear, concise, and user-friendly format.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through effective documentation and standardized work practices.
• Track and organize training records, content updates, and program effectiveness metrics.
