Job summary

Divergent is seeking a Learning & Organizational Development Specialist to build workforce capability for Advanced Manufacturing. The role combines instructional design, learning architecture, and LMS data analysis to improve proficiency and operational readiness.

You will translate business needs into scalable learning solutions, lead projects from discovery to evaluation, and partner with technical experts to ensure alignment with quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Five+ years of progressive learning & development experience with independent ownership of complex projects.
• Ability to conduct needs analysis, define performance outcomes, and design curricula.
• Working knowledge of adult-learning theory and blended learning approaches.
• Experience administering learning programs and working with LMS data.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders and SMEs to diagnose performance and learning needs.
• Design role-based learning architectures, curricula, and qualification plans.
• Lead end-to-end instructional design for complex learning using adult-learning principles.
• Convert technical concepts into accessible learning experiences with quality controls.
• Establish measurement plans and analyze LMS data for participation, proficiency, and adoption trends.
• Maintain data quality for LMS programs and reporting logic.
