SpaceX is seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Administrator to support networking, compute administration, and application services across our rocket manufacturing factories. This role is pivotal to sustaining launch cadence and protecting life-safety systems.

Qualifications

3+ years of IT systems administration in manufacturing/factory environments.
Hands-on experience with Linux or Windows server administration.
Hands-on experience with enterprise network administration and deployment.
Experience troubleshooting network connectivity to manufacturing equipment.
Willingness to participate in after-hours on-call rotation and travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

Augment and deploy new IT infrastructure supporting mission-critical networks.
Perform periodic upgrades and patches, including weekends and evenings.
Monitor IT services and respond aggressively to incidents to maintain performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve deployment issues.
Document IT systems, designs, and procedures.
Leverage automation tools and contribute to IT systems engineering.
Ensure systems comply with ITAR, ISO, NIST cyber-security standards.
