Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an IT Systems Administrator for Manufacturing to support the networking, server, and application needs of our rocket production facilities. This role ensures uptime for life-safety and mission-critical systems in a fast-paced environment.

You will upgrade systems, monitor services, and collaborate across teams to resolve issues, document procedures, and maintain cybersecurity and industry standards (ITAR, ISO, NIST). On-call and travel may be required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency.
3+ years of IT systems administration experience in manufacturing/factory environments.
Hands-on with Linux or Windows server administration.
Hands-on with enterprise network administration and deployment.
Experience troubleshooting network connectivity to manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

Augment and deploy new IT infrastructure supporting mission-critical networks in rocket manufacturing factories.
Perform periodic systems upgrades and patches, including weekends/evenings.
Monitor IT services and respond to incidents to maintain performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve deployment issues.
Author and maintain documentation for IT systems and procedures.
Leverage automation tools and contribute to IT systems engineering efforts.
Ensure systems meet ITAR, ISO, and NIST cybersecurity standards.
