Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking an IT Specialist in Portland, TN to maintain, support, and improve IT and OT systems in a manufacturing environment. This hands-on role covers servers, networks, hardware, and end users, with emphasis on uptime, security, and reliability of critical systems.

You will collaborate with engineering and maintenance on upgrades, deployments, and data flow between MES, ERP, and other business systems. A degree in IT and 3+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• 3+ years of hands-on IT support in manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows server and desktop environments.
• Experience with networking, hardware installation, and OT/ICS context is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support IT hardware and software across servers, PCs, printers, and network equipment.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair on-site systems with minimal downtime.
• Manage Active Directory, user accounts, permissions, backups, and system security.
• Support production IT systems, MES/ERP integrations, and OT connectivity.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance on equipment installs, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
