Job summary

Acutec Precision Aerospace, Inc. is seeking an IT Manager to lead the information technology function in a manufacturing environment where IT and OT must operate together.

You will plan, direct, and coordinate IT services, governance, budgeting, asset management, and team leadership to support reliable production operations. The role emphasizes governance, project delivery, risk and compliance, and collaboration with manufacturing teams to ensure secure, compliant systems and technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in IT/CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum seven years IT experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience managing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity programs, and enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of networks, servers, cloud, endpoints, backup/DR, and cyber best practices.
• Budgeting experience for operating and capital technology.
• Familiarity with NIST 800-171, DFARS, ITAR, and CMMC is preferred.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and manage vendors.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to explain technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain IT governance processes, standards, risk controls, and decision frameworks.
• Lead IT projects from planning to implementation with stakeholders and production impact awareness.
• Manage operating and capital technology budgets and communicate cost/risk/b impact.
• Identify and mitigate cybersecurity, operational, and compliance risks; ensure secure, compliant systems.
• Oversee lifecycle management of IT/OT assets, licenses, and connected manufacturing systems.
• Provide strategic IT leadership, align priorities with manufacturing goals, and foster collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop and manage relationships with vendors and service providers; negotiate contracts and monitor performance.
