Job summary

Acutronic Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to develop and optimize manufacturing processes, BOMs, and routing, while improving efficiency and product quality. You will work with cross‑functional teams, applying Lean/Six Sigma practices and maintaining engineering documentation to support safe, compliant manufacturing.

The role emphasizes process flow creation, line balancing, and readiness reviews, with a focus on on-time project execution and adherence to AS9100 standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing engineering or a similar role.
• Ability to read and interpret customer specifications and 2D drawings with GD&T.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Experience in creating engineering Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Ability to develop manufacturing process flows, identify tooling solutions, and estimate labor hours across all phases.

• Oversee and contribute to engineering build projects from start to finish, ensuring that the project is executed on-time
• Ensure manufacturing processes adhere to AS9100 standards
• Provide ongoing engineering assistance to the Operations department Additional Duties

Your Roles/Responsibilities:

Your Profile/Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred; equivalent combinations of relevant education and work experience will be considered
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing engineering or a similar role
• Proficient in reading and interpreting customer specifications and 2D engineering drawings, with in-depth knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Experience with process improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma
• Experience in creating engineering Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Proven ability to develop manufacturing process flows, identify tooling solutions, and estimate labor hours across all phases of the manufacturing process
