Job summary
Hunter Recruiting seeks an IT Infrastructure & Automation Engineer to lead modernization and maintenance of the organization’s technology backbone. The role focuses on hands-on support, systems engineering, automation, and continuous improvement across all departments to improve efficiency and security.
The candidate will work on ERP and manufacturing systems, including Infor XA, and collaborate with leadership to implement scalable, compliant solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on IT infrastructure and systems engineering experience.
- Minimum of 5 years scripting, programming, automation, or systems integration experience.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with .NET, PowerShell, APIs, or similar technologies.
- Experience supporting cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards (NIST, CMMC, DFARS, SOX, ITAR).
Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, support, and optimize infrastructure systems (servers, networking, virtualization, backups, cloud).
- Develop and maintain automation solutions, scripts, and reporting tools (SQL, PowerShell, APIs).
- Support ERP systems and manufacturing applications such as Infor XA (Mapics).
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for infrastructure and systems.
- Maintain availability, uptime, and disaster recovery readiness with best practices.
