Job summary

Corning is seeking a Digital & IT Intern, Analyst at the Phoenix Manufacturing site for Summer 2027. You will collect and analyze manufacturing data, support dashboards, and explore AI-enabled tools to streamline reporting and workflows.

This internship offers hands-on analytics experience in a technical manufacturing environment and collaboration across teams. Ideal candidates are pursuing IT/CS/Data Science degrees, with strong analytical and communication skills, and available for 10 weeks in

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related technical discipline.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies, processes, and business concepts quickly.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, validate, and summarize data from manufacturing, operational, technical, or business systems.
• Support development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Identify opportunities to simplify reporting, improve workflows, and increase efficiency through digital tools.
• Support process documentation, knowledge capture, and standardization activities.
• Contribute to evaluation and use of AI-enabled or automation tools for reporting and workflows.
• Partner with team members to gather requirements and support project execution.
