Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services in Minnetonka seeks a Purchasing & Inventory Control Specialist to support manufacturing operations in the power electronics sector. You will manage purchasing, inventory control, and production planning to keep schedules on track.

The role is on-site, full-time, with Sage X3 experience preferred; you will collaborate with Assembly, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams and handle cycle counts, BOMs, and material availability to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP in manufacturing, Sage X3 preferred.
• Knowledge of purchasing, production planning, and inventory control.
• On-site work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute purchasing activities including requisitions, POs, supplier follow-up.
• Obtain supplier quotes, negotiate pricing and lead times.
• Create and adjust production schedules based on demand and capacity.
• Issue, release, and track manufacturing work orders in Sage X3.
• Manage raw materials, WIP, and finished goods inventory.
• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits; investigate variances.
• Maintain item master data, BOMs, routings, and planning parameters.
• Coordinate expediting and communicate production priorities.
• Collaborate with Assembly, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams.
