Job summary

Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc. is seeking a Project Manager – Manufacturing Integration to lead major operational initiatives across the Mayodan facility, delivering new production lines and facility improvements on time and within budget.

You will align cross-functional teams, manage scope, cost, and schedule, and shepherd projects from charter through production handoff, ensuring a smooth transition to steady-state operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Broad experience leading engineering projects in manufacturing environments.
• Experience implementing process improvements and cross‑functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle from charter through production stabilization.
• Define scope, budget, risk profile, and success metrics.
• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules and milestone reviews.
• Drive structured stage‑gate reviews with senior leadership.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks.
• Protect projects from scope creep while maintaining agility.
• Align efforts across Operations Integration Coordinator, IE, Manufacturing, Product Engineering, Machine Technology, Facility Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, NPD as required.
• Ensure engineering outputs align with operational readiness.
• Escalate constraints and decision gaps appropriately.
• Monitor capital investment performance and ROI.
• Provide regular status updates to senior leadership.
