Job summary

ABB in Jonesboro, AR is seeking an HSE professional to lead incident reporting and investigations at the manufacturing facility. You will drive risk mitigation and provide guidance to management and teams on lessons learned to improve safety performance.

The role emphasizes behavioral change through local implementation of ABB-wide safety programs, with required manufacturing experience and US work authorization. On-site work at the Jonesboro facility is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Health/Safety or Environment with 2+ years of experience preferred OR Associate degree with 4+ years HSE experience OR HS diploma/GED with 6+ years HSE experience.
• Proven track record in working in a manufacturing environment as a member of the HSE team.
• Knowledge of Regulatory Compliance including local HSE regulations and knowledge of widely used international standards.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
• Knowledge of Electrical Safety Program Implementation is a plus.
• Change Management experience is a plus.
• Professional Certifications (CHST, OHST, ASP, CSP) are nice to have.
• Candidates must already possess authorization to work for ABB in the US.

• Reporting HSE incidents to management and stakeholders and taking actions.
• Facilitating incident investigations to learn ways to mitigate risks.
• Providing feedback on lessons learned and best practices across ABB.
• Supporting and driving behavioral change through local implementation of performance improvement programs.
