Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking an on-site Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) professional in the US to strengthen HSE performance within a designated area.

You will lead incident reporting, investigations, and risk mitigation while promoting a culture of continuous safety improvement across ABB’s operations. The role emphasizes data-driven insights, collaboration with management, and active participation in ABB’s safety programs to protect personnel and operations.

Qualifications

• At least a High School Diploma; an Associate or Bachelor’s in HSE is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years HSE experience or equivalent degree.
• Experience supporting HSE programs or working in an HSE role preferred.
• Experience with Data Analytics and Excel data management is a plus.
• Candidates must have US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Report HSE incidents to management and stakeholders and take action.
• Facilitate and provide guidance on incident investigations to mitigate risks.
• Provide feedback on lessons learned across ABB and within the unit.
• Support and drive behavioral change through performance improvement programs.
