Job summary

Top Prospect Group, now part of HW Staffing Solutions, seeks an HSE Coordinator to support a Ogden, UT manufacturing facility. The role works with the HSE Manager and on-site teams to advance health, safety, and environmental programs.

This temporary, part-time position requires experience in manufacturing safety and direct environmental compliance, including RCRA, air permitting, and wastewater/stormwater. Responsibilities include inspections, risk assessments, training, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

1-3 years of relevant HSE, environmental, manufacturing, maintenance, or operational experience preferred.
Previous HSE experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
Direct environmental compliance experience strongly preferred, particularly involving RCRA hazardous waste, air permitting, wastewater/stormwater, chemical reporting, and environmental recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine workplace inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
Identify unsafe conditions and work practices and recommend corrective actions.
Track corrective actions through completion.
Assist with developing and updating JSAs, risk assessments, procedures, and HSE programs.
Support Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space, respiratory protection, machine guarding, PPE, Hazard Communication, electrical safety, ergonomics, emergency response, and contractor safety programs.
Conduct approved HSE training and maintain training records.
Assist with incident, injury, near-miss, spill, and property-damage investigations.
Collect statements, photographs, and other information needed for investigations.
Support root-cause analysis and corrective-action follow-up.
