Job summary

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) at CEL Critical Power Ltd. partners with leaders across manufacturing and operations to align people strategies with business goals.

This role provides hands-on guidance on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and compliance on the production floor and with senior leadership. You will coach managers, support staffing, engage employees, and collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HRIS, payroll and benefits teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• 3+ years of HR experience supporting manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Strong employee relations, investigations, and performance management experience.
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders on workforce planning, organizational needs, employee development, and HR strategy.
• Provide day-to-day HR guidance to managers and employees on performance, attendance, conduct, policy, and workplace concerns.
• Manage employee relations matters and conduct workplace investigations.
• Coach managers on performance management, corrective action, documentation, and employee development.
• Maintain a visible HR presence on the manufacturing floor and build relationships with employees.
• Partner with operations leadership on staffing, turnover, attendance, scheduling, retention, and workforce challenges.
• Support performance reviews, talent planning, succession planning, promotions, and organizational changes.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition on hiring and onboarding needs.
• Support employee engagement, recognition, retention, and communication initiatives.
• Provide guidance regarding FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO, USERRA, wage and hour requirements, and company policies.
• Partner with HR team on leave, accommodations, benefits, payroll, and employee lifecycle matters.
• Analyze HR metrics and workforce trends and recommend solutions to leadership.
• Support HR policies, audits, compliance initiatives, and accurate employee documentation.
