Job summary

Cretex Medical in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking an HR Specialist to support employees and leaders with day-to-day HR questions, processes, and workplace needs. This hands-on, in-person role focuses on administering leave of absence and workers’ compensation, facilitating new hire orientation, and providing HR guidance across the CDT group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of related experience in Human Resources.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and system thinking abilities.
• Strong initiative and results orientation.
• Ability to convey information professionally and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Lead the administration of leave of absence and workers’ compensation processes for facility employees.
• Provide back-up support for new hire orientation facilitation.
• Provide day-to-day coaching to employees and leaders on policy interpretation and employee relations.
• Facilitate new hire check-ins and ongoing employee touchpoints.
• Support site off-boarding activities.
• Participate in weekly and monthly reporting activities.
• Ensure employee paperwork and files are accurate and maintained.
• Support workplace committees and HR initiatives.
• Promote continuous improvement in HR processes.
