Dart Container is seeking an HR Manager to lead workforce transformation at the Randleman facility, overseeing an HR team and partnering with plant leadership to staff growth, strengthen frontline leadership, and foster a safety-focused, high-performing culture.

You will drive retention, develop leadership capability, and use data to improve outcomes across safety, quality, efficiency, and engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Experience leading HR in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environments.
• Experience supporting significant growth, facility expansions, or workforce transformations.
• Strong employee relations expertise, including investigations and employment law knowledge (FLSA, FMLA, ADA).
• Proven leadership in managing HR teams and coaching leaders.

This is not a steady-state HR role. You'll play a critical role in helping build the future of our Randleman facility by partnering with plant leadership to staff new operations, strengthen frontline leadership capability, improve employee engagement, and create a high-performing culture focused on safety, accountability, and results.

What You'll Do...

As the HR Manager, you'll oversee a facility of 310+ employees, playing a pivotal role in shaping our culture and driving key outcomes. You'll lead the HR team while partnering with management to achieve safety, quality, efficiency, and employee engagement goals. Your responsibilities include:

• Lead the HR strategy for a growing manufacturing facility.
• Build and execute staffing plans to support line expansions and operational growth.
• Partner with plant leadership to improve retention, reduce turnover, and strengthen workforce stability.
• Coach and develop supervisors and managers to become stronger people leaders.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives through pulse surveys, stay interviews, and workforce feedback.
• Conduct complex employee relations investigations and provide guidance on employment law compliance.
• Support organizational development, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
• Use workforce metrics and data to identify trends, solve problems, and improve business results.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HR Centers of Excellence, and Operations leaders to deliver outstanding people outcomes

What You'll Bring...

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of progressive HR experience (or equivalent).
• Previous experience leading HR in a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment.
• Demonstrated success supporting significant business growth, facility expansions, new production lines, turnarounds, or workforce transformations.
• Strong employee relations expertise, including investigations and application of FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and employment laws.
• Proven leadership experience managing HR teams.
• Experience influencing leaders and driving accountability through coaching and partnership.
• Proven ability to analyze workforce data and translate insights into action.
• Strong communication, organizational, and change management skills.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset to tackle challenges head-on.
• Previous HR team leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to support a 24/7 operation.
