Job summary

Johnson Controls, a global leader in building systems and energy efficiency, seeks an HR Manager to lead all HR functions in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will partner with plant leadership to drive talent strategy, engagement, compliance, and continuous improvement at the York, PA facility.

Responsibilities include workforce planning, performance management, succession planning, and labor relations, with a focus on aligning people programs to business goals across the Americas.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in HR generalist or support roles with strong employee and labor relations knowledge.
• Experience building a greenfield site or leading new leadership teams.
• Strong HR generalist skills in talent acquisition, performance management, and labor law where applicable.
• Proven ability to influence, coach leaders, and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR functions for a fast-paced manufacturing environment to support operational excellence.
• Collaborate with plant leadership on talent strategy, engagement, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Drive talent reviews, performance management, compensation, and employee development.
• Plan workforce, staffing models, and labor cost management with Operations.
• Communicate strategies and updates across the Americas.
