Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Management, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
• Experience managing recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, workers' compensation, FMLA, and performance management processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the hiring process, including workforce planning, recruiting, screening, interviewing, and selection.
• Administer new employee orientation and initial training programs.
• Counsel employees regarding job performance, workplace issues, conflict resolution, professional development, and personal concerns.
• Investigate employee conduct issues and policy violations, and administer disciplinary procedures.
• Administer employee benefits programs and enrollment processes.
• Administer Workers' Compensation, Leave Management, and safety programs.
• Administer unemployment claims and coordinate with state agencies.
• Provide HR guidance to leadership and monitor workplace trends and HR programs.
