Job summary

Planet Pharma is seeking an HR professional to execute HR strategies at our Sumter, SC plant and partner with Talent Acquisition on recruiting events to support site staffing needs.

The role includes advising on compensation, coaching managers through employee relations issues, and ensuring adherence to EEOC and other regulations. A B.S./B.A. in HR or related field is required, with manufacturing experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of HR experience.
• B.A. or B.S. degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
• HR certifications preferred.
• HR experience in manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Executes HR strategies for the Sumter plant.
• Partners with Talent Acquisition to support recruiting events for the site and ensures EEOC compliance.
• Addresses compensation issues to ensure internal and local market consistency.
• Reviews and approves performance appraisals, job evaluations, educational assistance requests, and disciplinary actions.
• Advises on training needs and facilitates training to improve managerial effectiveness.
• Provides guidance on EEO guidelines and communication needs.
• Develops, communicates, and implements HR policies; leads HR-related continuous improvement projects.
• Leads site-wide programs in areas such as Affirmative Action, Talent Management, and Community Relations; analyzes data to measure impact.
• Coordinates and leads training for associates and managers on HR topics.
