Job summary

Boater’s World Manufacturing Group in Chocowinity, NC seeks an HR & EHS Coordinator to support daily HR and safety activities on the manufacturing floor. You will assist with onboarding, records, recruiting, attendance, safety training, and OSHA recordkeeping while coordinating with the HR Generalist.

The role is hands-on, early-career, and requires strong organizational skills, safety-mindedness, and the ability to interact with employees and supervisors across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of combined HR, safety, workers’ compensation, or EHS support experience.
• Experience supporting HR administration, onboarding, safety training, incident documentation, corrective-action tracking, workers’ compensation, OSHA recordkeeping, or similar responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding, employee records, attendance, HR transactions, and benefits communication.
• Support HRIS updates, payroll inputs, and employee documentation.
• Coordinate on-site safety inspections, hazard identification, and OSHA recordkeeping.
• Assist with workers’ compensation documentation and return-to-work coordination.
• Maintain confidential personnel files and employee records.
• Support incident response, investigation documentation, and corrective-action tracking.
