Job summary

Smardt, a global HVAC and manufacturing leader, is seeking an HR Business Partner for Manufacturing to partner with plant leadership, drive workforce strategies, ensure safety and compliance, and integrate a new facility into the Smardt operating model on-site in Arizona.

You will lead recruitment, labor relations, compensation, and analytics, aligning HR programs with production goals, and building a high-performing, engaged workforce across shifts.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of HR experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of labor relations and employment law.
• Experience building HR programs for a new facility and multi-shift operations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with plant leaders to align HR strategies with production goals.
• Lead end-to-end recruitment and workforce planning for manufacturing.
• Manage labor relations, compliance, and safety programs.
• Drive analytics to improve turnover, staffing, and productivity.
• Oversee compensation, benefits and payroll coordination with Finance.
