Job summary

WestRock Company is seeking an entry-level Machine Helper to support the manufacturing floor. Starting pay is $19.04/hr during qualification with a probation period around 90 days, moving to $19.66/hr after. Shift is Mon-Thurs, 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM, with overtime as needed.

The role is on-site in a non-climate-controlled environment. Candidates should be able to read English, learn quickly, and handle basic math and measuring tasks while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; no degree required.
• Must be able to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Ability to stand and walk continuously with occasional kneeling, crouching, squatting, bending, climbing, and grasping.
• Must wear safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection and other safety gear as required.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform a wide range of tasks supporting manufacturing areas and production.
• Conduct quality checks and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Assist machine operators and setup crews with toolings, jam-ups, and material handling.
• Support multiple machines and areas as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
