Job summary

General Motors Manufacturing Group seeks qualified individuals for current and future openings as a Group Leader. Roles span Production, Quality, or Global Supply Chain, requiring leadership of teams to drive operational excellence in manufacturing processes.

Selected candidates will support safety, quality, and cost initiatives (SPQRCE) and contribute to advancing manufacturing toward electric and autonomous vehicles. Onsite in Romulus, Michigan with full-time commitment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year supervisory experience or 5+ months as an internal GM per diem group leader.
• Experience leading people and addressing performance concerns.
• Ability to solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment; strong interpersonal skills.
• Proven analytical ability to analyze and improve processes.
• Basic computer proficiency (Word, typing, email).
• Willingness to work weekends and rotating shifts.
• 18 years of age or older and a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and respond to the manufacturing daily plan, adjusting operations as needed.
• Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
• Handle change and navigate ambiguity with accountability.
• Drive accountability through people and processes, including difficult conversations.
