Location: This role is onsite in Arlington, TX. The successful candidate will be expected to report to this location on a full-time basis.

The Role:

As a Group Leader in Production, Quality, or Global Supply Chain (GSC), you will lead teams of employees or technical personnel to drive operational excellence. Your responsibilities include managing daily operations, developing and improving processes, and fostering teamwork and collaboration.

You may oversee production activities, quality assurance, inspection, problem-solving, and GM Built-in-Quality initiatives. The role requires applying independent judgment within the framework of Global Manufacturing Systems, emphasizing Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, Cost, and Environment (SPQRCE).

Selected candidates will have the opportunity to develop new skills and contribute to manufacturing advancements supporting electric and autonomous vehicle initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and respond to the manufacturing daily plan, making adjustments as needed
• Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
• Manage change and navigate ambiguity effectively
• Drive accountability through people and processes, including difficult conversations when necessary

Physical Requirements:

• Work in a loud manufacturing environment, possibly without climate control, with conditions that can be hot or cold
• Maintain good physical stamina and coordination to frequently and repetitively:
  • Bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and reach
  • Lift or carry materials up to 15 lbs., occasionally up to 40 lbs.
  • Walk and stand for prolonged periods
  • Occasionally sit, climb (ladders, lifts), and operate vehicles and equipment
• Read work instructions, operate machinery, and perform quality inspections
• Respond promptly to safety signals and alarms
• Wear PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, hats, ear plugs, and safety shoes
