Job summary

AdvanSix in the United States is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to support the Chemical Intermediates segment and two Site Controllers. You will participate in month-end close, budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting across multiple entities.

The role emphasizes understanding business and operations, forecasting accuracy, and delivering actionable insights. Proficiency with SAP and Power BI is preferred, along with strong communication across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum 4 years' finance/accounting experience; FP&A or manufacturing finance preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close activities including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Support inventory, fixed assets, and cost accounting activities.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests and controls.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, labor, overhead, inventory, and site performance.
• Prepare forecasts, annual budgets (AOP, ZBB) and variance analyses.
• Develop reports and dashboards using SAP and Power BI.
• Support pricing analysis and customer profitability reviews.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting and automate processes.
