Job summary

Advansix is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with the Business Finance Director for Chemical Intermediates and two Site Controllers. The role covers accounting, financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, and manufacturing finance across multiple entities.

Key duties include month-end close, budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting. You will develop a deep understanding of business operations and their impact on financial results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum 4 years' finance/accounting experience.
• FP&A or manufacturing finance experience preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and balance sheet reviews.
• Support inventory and fixed asset accounting activities.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests.
• Help maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Support the resolution of accounting and transactional issues within SAP.
• Partner with Site Controllers to analyze manufacturing costs, labor, overhead, inventory, production yields, and Site performance.
• Monitor Site spending and operational metrics and prepare manufacturing variance analyses.
• Support productivity, cost reduction, and working capital initiatives.
• Participate in physical inventory counts and cycle count programs.
