Job summary

The Newcastle Search Group is engaged to fill the FP&A Manager role for a multi-site manufacturing organization in the western Chicago suburbs. This position is office-based with no hybrid or remote options.

Responsibilities include leading planning, forecasting, and financial reporting, partnering with finance and operations to drive profitability and cost performance, and directing a remote finance team member. Strong accounting background and leadership in a manufacturing setting are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.
• Minimum of seven years of progressive accounting and finance experience, preferably in manufacturing or multi-site environments.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations, including financial planning, forecasting, cost analysis, and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly financial reporting and forecasting across multiple locations.
• Consolidate results and prepare variance analyses for revenue, gross margin, and expenses.
• Develop and consolidate annual operating plan, forecasts, and standard cost updates.
• Collaborate with operational teams on revenue projections and production planning.
• Support audit readiness and maintain strong financial controls.
