Job summary

Vitro is seeking an Finance/Accounting professional to lead budgeting, cost estimates, inventory control and monthly closings for the plant. The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance with GAAP, and timely information for management on financial performance.

The ideal candidate has FP&A experience in manufacturing, strong communication and analytical skills, and advanced spreadsheet proficiency to support operations and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Experience with Federal, State, and Local tax law in the US.
• FP&A experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Advanced knowledge of PCs and spreadsheet design and usage.
• Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Vitro accounting and production systems (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Oversee product costing, inventory valuation, and production reporting.
• Manage monthly close activities and guide the local team to accurate closings.
• Ensure integrity of plant P&L and Balance Sheet through variance analysis and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with supply chain and inventory teams to ensure adherence to controls; conduct inventories.
• Lead annual budget process and weekly/monthly forecasts.
• Provide financial impact analyses for operations decisions and cost reductions.
• Produce ad hoc analyses as requested by Plant Manager and Controller.
