Job summary

Vitro Architectural Glass in Wichita Falls is seeking a Supervisor of Accounting to lead the accounting functions, supervise staff, and provide timely, accurate reports to the Plant Controller and plant management.

The role ensures proper operation of the SAP-based Production and Cost System, maintains internal controls, coordinates system enhancements and training across the accounting team and other departments at the facility.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent in Accounting or related field.
• Knowledge of accounting theory, principles and cost accounting.
• Manufacturing accounting experience and SAP knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain control of all accounting functions and provide reports to Plant Controller.
• Train and supervise personnel reporting to the incumbent to facilitate efficient operation.
• Ensure accurate Production and Cost System (SAP) operation and proper internal controls.
