Job summary

Accelera in Wisconsin seeks a Manufacturing Floor Lead to direct daily production, ensuring safety, quality, and KPI achievement while driving efficiency. You will coach staff, enforce GMPs, and manage production documentation to sustain accurate batch records and ERP data.

You will collaborate with quality and maintenance teams on deviations and continuous improvement efforts, including 5S, to optimize run rates and waste reduction.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in food manufacturing or snack/high-speed processing.
• Supervisory experience with the ability to lead teams and hold staff accountable.
• Strong understanding of food safety systems, GMPs, and audit compliance.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, production reporting, and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily production workflows and adjust staffing to meet volume targets.
• Troubleshoot equipment, processes, and materials to maintain run rates and minimize downtime.
• Lead, coach, and develop production staff with clear expectations and feedback.
• Enforce GMPs, sanitation, and safety to keep an audit-ready environment.
• Ensure accuracy of batch records, quality checks, and ERP entries.
• Monitor waste, yield, and material usage; take corrective action as needed.
• Collaborate with quality and maintenance on deviations and 5S initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily production workflows and adjust staffing assignments to meet volume requirements and operational targets.
• Troubleshoot equipment, process, and material issues to ensure consistent run rates and minimize downtime.
• Lead, coach, and develop production staff by setting clear expectations and providing ongoing performance feedback.
• Maintain an audit-ready environment by strictly enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), sanitation protocols, and safety standards.
• Ensure the accuracy of all production documentation, including batch records, quality checks, and electronic ERP entries.
• Monitor waste, yield performance, and material usage, implementing corrective actions to maintain efficiency.
• Partner with quality and maintenance teams to address process deviations and support continuous improvement initiatives like 5S.
