Job summary

Quality Gold, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing employee for our Fairfield, OH facility. The role involves performing essential jewelry production tasks in a climate-controlled environment, with day shifts from 8:00 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m. Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED, and previous jewelry manufacturing experience is a plus. The position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and compliance with company policies.

• Clean and plate jewelry after polishing.

• Assemble jewelry.
• Assist with setting small round stones into mountings.
• Assist with sizing rings.
• Regular attendance and compliance with the Company's handbook policies and procedures.

Summary: Assist in various roles within the Manufacturing department based on daily business and production needs.

Essential Functions

• Clean and plate jewelry after polishing.
• Create wax molds of products and trim mold pieces.
• Grind jewelry pieces after casting.
• Etch or cut plates of metal using a laser machine.
• Sandblast pieces of jewelry.
• Help sort casted, machined, or laser pieces.
• Apply epoxy to jewelry.
• Stamp applicable trademark onto jewelry pieces.
• Assemble jewelry.
• Assist with setting small round stones into mountings.
• Assist with sizing rings.
• Regular attendance and compliance with the Company's handbook policies and procedures.

Supervisory Responsibilities: No supervisory responsibilities.

• May walk for short periods of time throughout the day.

This position is working in various climate-controlled workspaces within the secure manufacturing area. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, noise, moving mechanical parts and vibration.

Individuals working in the \"secure area\" must follow the Company's Secure Area Dress Code and Security policies and procedures. All clothing must be free from metal, and no metal may be worn into the secure area of the building. Any metal inside or outside the body due to a medical condition must be visually inspected, or reasonable accommodations may be made.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and overtime hours are required during peak times of the year.
