SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for packing consumer internet orders according to customer and product specifications and assist with preparing orders to be shipped according to scheduled pick‑up times.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Package internet orders based on customer and product specifications.
• Stock consumer packaging boxes as needed.
• Place identification label on boxes.
• Sort orders based on numeric numbering system on order label.
• Work with other members in the shipping department in an assembly line fashion to scan, check and box orders specifically to any packaging or shipping requirements, if any, before placing them on the conveyor belt system for final packaging.
• Clean and organize workstation as necessary.
• Regular attendance and compliance with the Company's handbook policies and procedures.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The performance of this position will require the position to work in a temperature‑controlled warehouse, which is located in a secure area of the building. Warehouse conditions include temperatures that me be hot or cool at certain times, dust and dirt from packages, and noise volume may vary from fans, forklifts, conveyor belts, and warehouse machinery. Individuals working in the "secure area" must follow the Company's Secure Area Dress Code and Security policies and procedures. All clothing must be free from metal, and no metal may be worn into the secure area of the building. Any metal inside or outside the body due to a medical condition must be visually inspected, or reasonable accommodations may be made.

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

Full-time or part-time hours are available. Full-time hours are Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to close. “Close” is based on when all orders placed before 5:00 p.m. are packaged and prepared for shipment. Part-time hours work 3 or more days a week with a flexible schedule. Additional Saturday hours may be required during peak business times.

No travel is required.
