Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise (Contractor Version preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Job costing experience, including revenue recognition for long‑term projects.
• Working knowledge of S‑Corporations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly internal financial statements, including work‑in‑process schedules.
• Maintain the general ledger and perform all account reconciliations.
• Provide financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic reporting.
• Maintain job cost tracking reports.
• Maintain fixed asset subledger, depreciation schedules, and reconciliation to the general ledger.
• Assist with payroll processing and payroll tax reporting.
• Manage vendor invoices and customer invoicing across multiple systems.
• Prepare schedules for annual federal tax return and cooperate with CPA.
