Job summary

TUTCO, LLC, part of Smiths Group, seeks a Financial Controller in Cookeville, TN to lead the finance function across sites. You will drive strategic financial planning, reporting, and compliance while guiding a growing manufacturing organization.

Reporting to the Divisional Finance Director, you will build a high-performing team, develop budgets, and ensure timely, accurate financial statements and forecasts to support global operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; MBA and/or CPA is desirable.
• Experience as a Controller or senior finance role, preferably in manufacturing.
• GAAP knowledge and financial regulations.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with SyteLine ERP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy and budgeting across sites and countries.
• Oversee monthly close, reporting, and forecasts.
• Manage AR/AP, cash flow, and capital expenditure analysis.
• Maintain internal controls and compliance with regulations.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to local leadership.
