Job summary

Everestsearchpartners in the United States (South Carolina) seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with plant management, deliver insights, and strengthen reporting. The role covers analysis, month-end close support, and ensuring accuracy of financial results.

You will drive cost accounting and BOM validation, develop manufacturing cost reports, and translate financial results into actionable improvements. Occasional travel to company locations may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive financial analysis or accounting experience in manufacturing
• Experience with IFRS and/or GAAP
• Proficiency with ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred) and advanced Excel
• Excellent communication and cross-functional partnering abilities

Responsibilities

• Support pre-close and month-end close activities for assigned plants, including inventory counts, selected journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Prepare monthly and quarterly operating statements with supporting analysis and commentary for senior leadership
• Ensure cost accuracy by validating Bills of Materials (BOM) and raw material usage
• Develop, analyze, and report manufacturing product costs as required
• Act as a key finance partner to plant management, translating financial results into actionable insights
• Correlate operational data with financial results to identify opportunities for improvement
• Develop, analyze, and report on KPIs; support KPI evolution
• Monitor compliance with plant processes and collaborate with operations teams to address issues
• Build strong partnerships with plant staff
• Support the annual planning and forecasting process, including scenario modeling and variance analysis
• Track performance against plans and forecasts, providing explanations for deviations
