Job summary

CFS in Charlotte, MI is seeking a seasoned Controller to lead manufacturing finance, cost accounting, and financial reporting. This onsite, full-time role partners with operations to drive profitability and ensure accurate close processes.

You will oversee month-end close, budgeting and forecasting, analyze variances, and guide staff on cost drivers and process improvements. Experience with Plex ERP and OneStream is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
• Strong accounting and financial management experience.
• Manufacturing finance and cost accounting experience.
• Experience supporting operational leadership and business decision-making.
• Solid understanding of month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operations leadership to support productivity, profitability, pricing strategies and business performance.
• Provide financial insight and recommendations to support operational decision-making.
• Analyze KPIs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Oversee accounting operations and ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
• Lead month-end and quarter-end closing activities.
• Review financial statements and provide analysis of results.
