Schunk Carbon Technology seeks an experienced Controller to lead SCT-US accounting, drive close discipline, strengthen controls, and develop the accounting team. You will partner with the Director of Finance & Administration and operations to ensure accurate, timely, and decision-useful financial information.

You will own the month-end close, manage cost accounting, budgeting, and reporting, while improving processes with SAP and Excel; this role demands an ownership mindset and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, month-end close, internal controls, and cost accounting.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop the accounting team responsible for AP/AR/GL, banking, credit & collections, and cost accounting.
• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, including journals, reconciliations, accruals, and reporting.
• Maintain GL integrity and investigate unusual items or accounting issues.
• Lead cost accounting activities: standard costs, inventory, variance analysis, and costing for proposals.
• Coordinate budgets and analyze variances vs. plan.
• Ensure controls, compliance, tax, and audits for SCT-US.
• Oversee cash management, working capital, and vendor/payables processes.
• Translate financial results into actionable insights for management and stakeholders.
• Utilize SAP and Excel to improve data quality and standardize workflows.
