Schunk Carbon Technology LLC in Menomonee Falls, WI, seeks an experienced Controller to lead the day-to-day accounting function, strengthen controls, and drive a disciplined close process. You will partner with the Director of Finance & Administration and operations to ensure accurate, timely, and actionable financial information.

The role requires strong leadership, deep manufacturing accounting expertise, and proficiency in SAP and Excel.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• At least 8 years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting, financial reporting, month-end close, internal controls, and cost accounting.
• Hands-on experience with standard cost systems, inventory accounting, variance analysis, and costing for new proposals.
• Senior-level experience coordinating or supporting financial audits.
• Knowledge of federal and state accounting and tax requirements.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and ERP tools.

Aufgaben

• Lead the accounting team responsible for A/P, A/R, GL, banking, credit and collections, and cost accounting.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and provide timely financial reporting.
• Maintain integrity of the general ledger and review reconciliations.
• Lead cost accounting activities and collaborate with operations to improve cost visibility and manufacturing performance.
• Coordinate budgeting, planning, and analysis for income statement, balance sheet, cash requirements, and capital equipment.
• Maintain accounting controls and coordinate audits and tax reporting.
• Oversee cash management and working capital responsibilities.
• Present financial results and insights to management in a clear, actionable manner.
• Utilize SAP, Excel, and other tools to improve data quality and reporting efficiency.
• Lead or support cross-functional finance and business improvement initiatives.
