Genesee BioMedical, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller in Denver, CO.

You will lead the accounting function, overseeing month-end close, financial reporting, cost and inventory accounting, internal controls, audits, budgeting and cash management within a regulated medical device environment. This leadership role reports to the CEO and partners with operations, supply chain, quality and leadership to drive margin, cost and cash decisions.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting processes.
• Experience with cost accounting in manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading external audits and internal controls.

Responsabilidades

• Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close calendars and processes.
• Review and approve journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and leadership commentary.
• Maintain chart of accounts and GAAP compliance (ASC 606, 842, 330).
• Own inventory and cost accounting, including standard costing and variances.
• Partner with Operations/Supply Chain for BOM costing and inventory control.
• Lead internal controls design, policies, and annual external audits.
• Manage budgeting, forecasts, cash flow, and treasury activities.
• Develop financial models, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses.
• Assist with M&A due diligence, valuation, and integration.
