Job summary

Ajax Tocco Magnethermic in Brookfield, WI seeks a dynamic financial leader to partner across the business, fuel growth and drive profitability by preparing robust analyses, implementing sound accounting practices, and developing strong processes and controls.

The Controller will oversee all Finance and Accounting functions, leverage data and KPIs to identify trends, and work with operations to reduce costs while ensuring accurate monthly closes, forecasts, and adherence to internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5-10 years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all Finance functions including General Accounting, Inventory and Cost Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis.
• Prepares accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis of business activity and financial position.
• Maintains internal accounting controls and develops policies and procedures.
• Perform the month-end close in IFS and conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly forecasts and the Annual Operating Plan with leadership.
• Collaborate with operations on spend reductions and cost optimization.
• Prepare financial justifications for capital investments and track spend vs. budget.
• Improve financial processes to enhance efficiency and controls.
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory reporting.
