Job summary

Xplora Search Group is seeking a hands-on finance leader to modernize and scale a financially strong manufacturing portfolio. Reporting to the CFO, you will build scalable processes, strengthen controls, and drive improvements across multiple business units.

You will own the US accounting close, develop the team, and oversee cost accounting, inventory, and intercompany activities, partnering with operations to boost profitability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience.
• Strong manufacturing and cost accounting experience, including standard costing, inventory, variance analysis, and product profitability.
• Strong ERP experience and demonstrated ability to improve systems, reporting, and accounting processes.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel.
• Hands‑on, solutions‑oriented leader who can balance attention to detail with a broader business perspective.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build trust, establish accountability, and influence cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Transform and strengthen the divisional accounting function by establishing scalable processes and building a high‑performing accounting team.
• Own the financial close and reporting process for the U.S. division, including timely monthly financial statements.
• Lead and develop the U.S. accounting team with clear roles and controls.
• Oversee accounting operations including AP, AR, billing, cash management, payroll and GL.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and company policies; coordinate with corporate finance.
• Partner with Operations to improve manufacturing performance and profitability.
• Manage intercompany accounting and cross-border transactions with transfer pricing support.
• Own balance sheet integrity including reconciliations, accruals and reserves.
• Oversee manufacturing cost accounting including standard costing and variance analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and consolidated reporting with FP&A.
• Drive standardization and automation of accounting processes across the U.S. division.
