Job summary

Danfoss is seeking an Operational Controller to provide financial leadership for manufacturing operations in the Shawnee area. You will partner with plant leadership to drive performance, improve cost visibility, and ensure strong financial controls.

The ideal candidate combines solid accounting fundamentals with hands-on manufacturing finance experience and the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and internal controls.
• Experience with manufacturing accounting and cost accounting concepts.
• Ability to communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial leadership and support to plant and operations management.
• Analyze and manage manufacturing costs, variances, and cost trends.
• Prepare monthly results, forecasts and budgets, including account reconciliations.
• Develop financial models and KPI reporting for plant leadership.
• Identify cost-reduction and profitability opportunities with operations.
