Job summary

Danfoss is seeking an Operational Controller in Shawnee, OK, to lead financial operations for manufacturing. You will partner with plant leadership to drive cost visibility, product costing, and financial controls.

The role includes month-end close, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, with a focus on cost reduction and productivity improvements. Strong manufacturing finance background and SAP experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing accounting and cost-accounting concepts.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to communicate financial information to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial leadership and support to plant and operations management.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, including standard vs actual costs, labor, overhead, and variances.
• Perform variance analysis for PPV, material usage, labor, overhead and scrap.
• Prepare monthly results, forecasts, budgets, and management reporting.
• Support cost reduction, productivity, and profitability initiatives.
