Job summary

Smardt, a global leader in oil-free centrifugal chiller technology, seeks an MBU Controller for its Avondale, AZ site. You will supervise finance operations, drive standard costing, inventory control, and monthly/quarterly reporting to support strategic decisions.

You will partner with plant leadership on KPIs, Capex, and profitability analyses while developing the team. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in manufacturing finance, strong costing/variance skills, and CPA progress; ERP/Navision

Qualifications

8 years of finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong costing, inventory management and variance analysis skills.
CPA designation in progress or completed is an asset.

Responsibilities

Oversee inventory management procedures with Purchasing, conduct monthly analysis and yearly physical counts.
Periodically review standard costs; perform monthly costing and variance analysis.
Partner with Plant Manager on KPIs, cost-savings, Capex and business cases.
Prepare site reports, support full P&L analysis and annual budgets/forecasts.
Lead and develop finance staff; manage team budget and processes.
