Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years progressive accounting/finance experience.
• 3+ years manufacturing experience.
• Strong cost accounting, inventory, and plant finance knowledge.
• Experience with job costing and bill-of-material-driven manufacturing.
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate financial results to senior leadership.

KBW Financial Staffing and Recruiting has partnered with a growing global manufacturer who is seeking a Plant Finance Manager / Site Controller to serve as the lead finance partner for a significant manufacturing operation.

This highly visible position will own the plant P&L and work closely with the Plant Director and operations leadership to improve financial performance. The role combines plant finance, cost analysis and strategic business partnership, with direct exposure to senior finance leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Own plant-level financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
• Lead the monthly close and analyze operating results
• Partner with plant leadership on cost, inventory, labor and profitability
• Develop and present financial results, KPIs and recommendations
• Support pricing, capital investment and working-capital decisions
• Identify cost savings and operational improvement opportunities
• Maintain appropriate financial controls and support audit requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Five or more years of progressive Accounting or Finance experience
• At least three years of manufacturing experience
• Strong professional presence to work closely with Executive leaders
• Strong cost accounting, inventory and plant finance knowledge
• Experience with job costing and bill-of-material-driven manufacturing
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills
• Ability to communicate financial results to senior leadership and confidently challenge operational assumptions

CPA, MBA and experience with Epicor, Infor SyteLine or a similar manufacturing ERP are preferred but not required.
